Software Engineer
Computational Biologist
Bioinformatician

For computational analyses and prediction of nucleosome positioning, transcription factor binding and other aspects of transcriptional regulation, a Software Engineer/Computational Biologist/Bioinformatician position is available immediately at the Beadle Center for Biotechnology at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

Applicants proficient in computation would participate in a multidisciplinary Team working on the genomewise predictions of nucleosome positioning sequences, high-throughput chromatin immunoprecipitation and next-generation sequencing project sponsored by the NSF.

The candidate would refine computational models of nucleosome localization, analyze experimentally determined transcription factor binding sites, and contribute to the development of network models of transcriptional regulation.

Candidates ideally with Master's in bioinformatics, biology, computer science, statistics, mathematics, or physics are encouraged to apply.
